The Gstaaderhof is ideally situated for hikers and climbers: many areas of Switzerland offer first-rate opportunities to hike and climb, but Gstaad’s centralised design is unmatched in the country. The town’s 300 kilometres of signed hiking trails, multiple aerial tramways, and the glacier paradise of Les Diablerets are just waiting to be explored.

Mountaineers and rock climbers can explore countless routes in the mountains surrounding Gstaad. From the easier routes on the Gastlosen to the challenging Oldenegg, climbers of all levels will find a healthy challenge. Our staff can provide plenty of hiking and climbing advice for the Swiss Alps.

With the Gstaad Easy Access Card you can experience the Saanenland at its best! Mountain railways, various other public transport services, as well as different offers on attractive leisure services are included or offered at discounted prices. The Gstaad Easy Access Card can be obtained from May to the end of October in our hotel for stays of 2 nights or more (a minimum of three consecutive days) at the rate of CHF 13.- per day (children CHF 7.-). These hikes avoid large changes in altitude. The starting and ending point is located a short ride away by hotel bus, public bus, or aerial tramway.
