The Hotel Gstaaderhof is a child-friendly family hotel, but we also know it’s important for parents to enjoy a little time to themselves on holiday. You need to know your children are in good hands, and our hotel staff is happy to help you locate a nanny for hourly child care. Just ask at our reception desk.
Besides this service, we also offer a fun children’s play area with lots to do for little guests: toys, blackboards for drawing, climbing ladders, and so much more! Teenagers will prefer to visit our game room, where they can find billiards, tabletop football, and ping pong.

  • Open Air Museum, Ballenberg: Since the 70s, Switzerland has been preserving traditional farmer’s houses, stalls, baking huts and barns, dismantling them and rebuilding them stone for stone at the open air museum in Ballenberg.
  • Salt Mine, Bex: For centuries, owning salt meant having wealth and power. Salt deposits discovered in the 15th century in Bex are still being mined. Visitors can view the mine and learn about salt production from 1684 to the present in its museum.
